Blurred Images

We chose

But did we choose right

The sun seemingly sinks into the sand and sets the sea a fire

And we are there to watch it at its most amazing hour

Had we called it quits

It couldn’t’ve been like this

The lazy bug has eaten other projects of ours to stay alive

But

He shall die

If neglect of our relationship is what’s needed to survive

He shall perish

If ever he needed us to be against each other

For him to flourish

He’ll soon reach the end

I don’t know what I want for dinner

Booth or table, I can’t decide where I’d like to sit

But I yesteryear, today, forever

I choose you to eat it with
